| Last time, Apricot and Aurora gave birth to "twins", Celadon and Coral, who managed to grow to their toddler years. Bistre became a teenager and before that, formed a great friendship with Essy, a class mate. Emerald started going out with Rex and Sam maxed his logic. | Instead of getting more RAM to my old laptop i've decided to get a brand new laptop, so playing will be a lot more fun :)

| It's been ages since the last time i posted an update, not that anybody has noticed :P
I will be updating again, once i get some more RAM (i've been told that i'm getting some for Christmas :P), then the game will run a bit more smoothly, as this old thing is getting really slow.

| I *finally* checked the point where the game was backed up. It was just too far from where i had played before the virus, so i decided it would be too frustrating to play all over again (Azure was still a teen!). I got rid of the old family, and started a new one, this time with a female founder.
I seem to be very unlucky with legacies :P but now i've decided to take a backup every time i've played.
So, in the near future, expect to see the new, and improved (hopefully) Spectrum legacy! | |

| Again there has been a very slight setback, Spectrum legacy -wise.
I seem to be very "lucky" when it comes to computer viruses. But luckily i had a backup of my game, although it's not exactly at the same point as to where i managed to play it last time.
But this doesn't mean that the legacy would end. It just means that there's a possibility that the next part will be sort of a "flashback", because i don't really remember how much i'd played back then where the backup is from.
So in case the next update seems a bit weird or you think "Hey, didn't this already happen? Hey, where did he/she come from?", that's only because of an old backup of the game files and i have to "re-play". | |

| There will be an update regarding the Spectrum Legacy (not that anybody reads it, right? :P last update didn't get any comments *sob* hehe :P but that's ok, i'm still posting them even if for my own amusement :)).
Usually i just download custom content other people have created (it seems that the male hair styles aren't as "fun" to create, am i right? Because there are quite a few hair styles created for male sims, but they're either not my taste or evolve around anime characters, goths and whatnot), but now i finally took the time and went through a few tutorials and started creating clothes of my own (recolors really, i know nothing about creating a new mesh and modding an existing mesh has its challenge), but with practise i'll get better.
Now, i would like to pass out a request!
If you happen to have the knowledge and ability to create new hair styles, it would be great if someone could do a few requests!
I think the best way to do this is via e-mail. I'll send you pictures of the hair styles i would like to see on male sims and then if you, any of you, could be so kind as to create them for me :)

| Time to see the Spectrums! Now where did we leave last time? Aqua and Jane were on their honeymoon, they found the secret pagoda and learned the Tale of the Dragon, tai-chi and the bow. Once they got back home, they started building their skills like mad, gaining plaques for maxing interests in different hobbies and took part in competitions. | Alright, so here it is, the new legacy family. And i've sworn myself to try and keep this one going longer than the others (obviously i did manage to run the Smiths quite a long while, maybe not that many generations, but i had several families going on at once, so i count that as a long running legacy). Like i said earlier, each legacy will have only one child (and heir will be chosen in the case of twins), and each child will be named after colours. And this must not be confused with the Rainbow Challenge! I just use colours as names, like i used Greek Gods and Goddesses and herbs in the two earlier legacies. | First off i would like to say that i am terribly sorry for not posting anything in ages.
Secondly, i regret to tell you that i've put the Herb Legacy aside at least for now (no worries, they're not gone or anything, they're safely in the family bin thingy).
Thirdly i started, again, from scratch, i'm really going to try and get this one at least till Gen 5 or even 10 (that'd be awesome). I actually went through quite alot of trouble (and ended up only playing one sim day today!) to have this new legacy thing happen. Most of my day did go to downloading new custom content and then making sure everything works properly and everything.
Anyways, i will give you some background about the new legacy.
The founder is and his descendants will be named after colours, and the family name is Spectrum (stupid, i know, but who cares, right?). And as always, i don't follow the rules, never have, the only one is that i keep the bloodline going. So cheating is expected :P
What i find interesting with the founder, Aqua Spectrum, is that even though he is a Family Sim, he is also a Romance Sim. Why, you ask. That way i can prevent myself from marrying him to the first female he sets his eyes on :P Whenever i marry the founder asap, i end up having more kids than i originally intended.
Speaking of kids, i decided that each generation will have only one child! And a heir will be chosen in a case of twins.
Like i said, when i usually marry the founder and make them start a family within the first few sim days, the household ends up with 3-4 kids and not much room.
So this legacy is something "new" to me, i try to keep the founder and the following heirs from marrying too soon, or more like having kids too soon. And a good way to start is to have a founder with both Family AND Romance aspiration :D

| I am sad to inform that there won't be any more Remus updates, as i lost the whole game due to the fact that my laptop was infected thanks to my own stupidity.
I will be installing the game back once i find all the expansion packs i have and download the custom content i also lost (the fact is i got a new, larger hard drive and forgot to copy the EAGames file from the old hard drive, thus losing everything).
But then again it is quite "refreshing" to start over again. So expect to meet a new legacy sometime around or after Easter! | |

| Last time we visited the Strangetown Asylum, Abigail got out for achieving her LTW and the rest of the inmates died either in a fire or of starvation. We miss them dearly, but life must go on.
